Degradability of Rumen-Protected Soybean Meal with Different Temperatures and Heating Times in Bali Cattle

چکیده
The goal of this study was to ascertain the impact soybean meal's temperature and heating duration as undegraded protein (UDP) on Bali cattle's dry matter (DM) organic (OM) degradation kinetics. Soybean meal is a feed ingredient with high content, which about 48%, rapidly degraded in rumen. In investigation, factorial design employed first factor being (60, 80, 100, 120°C), second time (10, 20, 30, 40 min). Protected tested for using sacco technique rumen fistulous cattle. A sample 5.0 g put into nylon bag then 0, 2, 4, 8, 16, 24, 48 h rumen, analyzed residues DM OM. results showed that protected by method could reduce OM (p<0.05). Heating at 120°C min lowest degradations study.

Effects of microwaving, and moist and dry heating on ruminal degradability of protein and dry matter in soybean meal
Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of microwaving, autoclaving (moist heating), and roasting (dry heating) on gas production parameters and in situ rumen degradability of soybean meal (SBM). SBM was treated by roasting at 140℃ for 30 and 60 min, and at 160℃ for 30 and 60 min, autoclaving at 121℃ for 20 min, and microwaving for 2, 4, and 6 min. A gas production trial...
متن کاملIn situ Evaluation of Ruminal Degradability and Intestinal Digestibility of Sunflower Meal Compared to Soybean Meal
The aim of this study was to compare the nutritional value of sunflower meal (SFM) and soybean meal (SBM) protein by determining both its ruminal degradability and intestinal digestibility. Three non lactating Jersey cows fitted with a rumen and T-type duodenal cannulas were used to estimate rumen degradability and intestinal digestibility of SFM and SBM dry matter (DM) and crude protein (CP). ...
متن کاملRumen Degradability and Model Prediction of Nutrient Supply to Ruminants from Different Processed Soybean Meals
DVE2010 system was used for model prediction of nutrient supply to ruminants from soy bean meal (SBM), extruded soy bean meal (SBE) and full-fat soybean meal (FSBM). Extruded soy bean meal had the highest truly absorbed rumen undegraded protein in the small intestine (ARUP) followed by SBM and FSBM. There was no significant difference between SBE and FSBM in the case of truly absorbed rumen syn...
متن کاملRumen effective degradability of amino acids from soybean meal corrected for microbial contamination.
Rumen degradation kinetics and effective degradability of individual amino acids, total analysed amino acids (TAA) and crude protein (CP) of soybean meal were measured on four rumen-cannulated wethers using the nylon bag technique. Microbial contamination of the incubated residues was corrected using a continuous 15N intraruminal infusion and isolated solid associated bacteria as a reference sa...
متن کاملEffects of different lipid levels on protozoa population, microbial protein synthesis and rumen degradability in cattle
Protozoa population, microbial synthesis efficiency and rumen degradability of dry matter and neutral detergent fiber in cattle fed on diets with different lipid rates were evaluated. Nine 16-monthold Nelore young bulls, cannulated in the rumen and duodenum, weighing 232 ± 35 kg, were used in the trial. Experimental design consisted of a 3 x 3 square in triplicate, comprising the following trea...
